Description
This painting was a fun exercise in composition and lighting. I wanted to see how I could take a single gorgeous flower and make it a little edgy, adding attitude with placement within the painting as well as how I handled the warm vs. cool parts of the whole. I wanted this delicate peony to shout out with a proud and vibrant voice how incredibly fabulous it is. :) I may be projecting a tad. ;) And that's ok... cuz it's kinda in my job description. :)
